Zirconite (zirconium silicate) is the raw material for the manufacture of coating paints for ovens and moulds, anti-shine coating for industrial ceramics and for household porcelain, pigments for porcelanate enamels, thermal and electric insulation, and refractory products made from zirconium and refractory cement. Out of the domestically produced zirconium, 97% is used in the manufacture of ceramic products, floor tiles and revetment materials
